The history of Reginella D’Abruzzo is inseparably tightened to the life of the D’Amico’s family. At the beginning of the century Venanzio, its founder, who was born in Campo Di Giove, began working in the sheep farming becoming a small manufacturer of seasoned and fresh cheese.
Soon he conveyed his craft and passion to his son Paolo who, in 1947, together with his sons Filippo, Mario, Angelo and Salvatore, moved to Puglia where he set up the firm “Paolo D’Amico & sons”.
In 1963 Filippo came back to Abruzzo, precisely to Sulmona, that becomes the head office of the cheese company “Reginella d’Abruzzo”. For more than forty years there have been only one goal to reach in the everyday work - the unremitting pursue of high quality, which is considered a real mission that every day is acknowledged by our customers and by several appreciations gained by Reginella d’Abruzzo such as the award “Mercurio D’Oro” in 1974 for our organization and professionalism. |
